Barely Thinking, Chapter Two
I love how rain feels. When I stand outside during a storm, the rain acts like a cleanser. As my problems and woes are washed away, I become one with myself. The cool rain is a perfect blend of peace and relief. Do I admire that chilly mixture? Or does someone else?

My dad, Norman, was the former Petalburg Gym Leader. I don't think he ever liked me. I was a daughter, not a son. I wanted to compete in Pokémon Contests, not become a Pokémon Trainer. "I have heard rumors that Elesa plans on closing the Gym."
"Cody, do not speak such nonsense."
